This St. Patrick’s Day, remember this Irish Toast. “To all the days, here and after, may they be filled with happiness and laughter.”
Beware the St. Paddy’s Pinch
St. Patrick’s Day is coming, and with a wee bit of effort and the luck o’ the Irish, yard sale shopping can make this holiday one you won’t forget. Of course, to avoid being pinched, the wearing of the green is a given so, be on the lookout for green clothing and accessories. A green cardigan or polo shirt or emerald-color jewelry will provide the little bit o’ green that is exactly what you need to ward off the pinchers.
Yard sales are the always pot of gold at the end of the shopping rainbow so, keep your eyes open for vases, candle holders, mason jars, and flower pots of all colors and finishes that can be made over for St. Paddy. You can style them with a fresh coat of green spray paint. Maybe you’ll run across some picture frames that can use a coat of green paint to add a little Irish. You can find lots of Irish quotes, shamrocks and graphics to print online, so you can pop them in a green frame, and you have some nice St. Patrick’s Day art to show off.

A St. Patrick’s Day Yardsale
If you are hosting a yard sale before St. Patrick’s Day, be sure to group all of your green items together. Add a sign on some poster board that says “St. Patrick’s Clothes and Accessories!” so it stands out at your yard sale and attracts those buyers who will soon be headed to their 3/17 parties. Hang clothes from a rack or line and put smaller items on a table, to make them more visible and easier to browse, and your display will be sure to make some green.
If you haven’t listed your yard sale yet, it’s never too late. Click here to list now!
